What is ThunderclapIf you love the Crazy Dad Life podcast, I’d love for you to subscribe and leave a review. It’s so easy too – just head to CrazyDadLife.com/Love.

In this episode, I discuss a relatively new social platform called Thunderclap. You’ll learn what Thunderclap is and how you might use it for your business or for a personal cause. I provides examples from past brands as well as step by step processes to start your own Thunderclap. I also get into some of the tactics I’m using for my own Thunderclap campaign.

Why am I using Thunderclap?

  1. I wanted to try it out – As a participant in the online space, you should always be looking to learn new techniques and experiment with new tools. When I saw Thunderclap I thought it would be cool to give it a go.
  2. I wanted to make some noise on Father’s Day to recognize all those guys out there  excelling as dads. It’s an important role and I wanted to have a coordinated message blast out on social media giving a quick and easy shoutout.

If you want to join my personal Thunderclap campaign and support dads this Father’s Day head over to www.crazydadlife.com/clap and you can join the fun. Let’s make some noise!!

Do you want to create your own Thunderclap?

If you are interested in learning more about this new and innovative platform, and are thinking of maybe starting your own campaign, you can  check out my tutorial video at www.crazydadlife.com/thunderclap. This week’s 5TIL (5 Things I Learned)

  2. Another example of how 3D printing can be an industry game changer.
  3. A quick discussion on how you are constantly watched and you need to make sure you remain steadfast with your good behavior.
  4. A cool new app from Adidas for customizing your shoes like never before.
  5. Mashable’s job search capability for social media gigs – who knew?

I have to learn more about this. I am not sure how I would use it as of yet.
